HTML
HyperText Markup Language
HTML is the markup language that defines the structure and meaning of web content. Created by Tim Berners-Lee in 1991 and formalized into a standard by the W3C, it uses a system of nested tags to describe headings, paragraphs, links, images, and interactive elements. Modern browsers render HTML alongside CSS and JavaScript, but an HTML file on its own is a valid, self-contained document that any browser can display.
